Vietnam visa for Australian citizens

There are two ways for Australian to get Vietnam Visa.
The first way is sourcing at Vietnam Embassy in Australia which is located at   6 Timbarra Crescent, O'Malley, ACT, 2606, Australia. It would be better if Australia citizens could contact the Embassy before coming there to apply for Vietnam visa. In case Australian passport holders reside in another country where there is Vietnam Embassy/Consulate, they can still request visa via this embassy.

The second way to get Vietnam visa for Australian passport holders is getting Vietnam visa approval by Vietnam Immigration Department of http://evietnamvisa.org/. This way is time-saving and more convenient, especially for those Australian who enter Vietnam by airway.

To apply for Vietnam visa approval, Australian passport holders just need to submit the online visa application, then make payment for the visa approval fee. Two business days after the completion of your payment, your visa approval letter is issued and sent to you.

Notice: in case Australian citizens wish to get their visa urgently, they can request urgent or super-urgent service.

When boarding on flight to Vietnam, Australian passport holders are required to present this visa approval letter. Similarly, the Immigration officers at Vietnam airport stamp visa for Australian people only when they see the presentation of this letter of approval.

In case Australian passport holders wish to speed up their visa procedure at Vietnam Embassy, they are advised to apply for visa approval code which allows them to get visa stamped at Embassy of Vietnam before travelling to the country.

Visa on arrival is convenient, yet it has not yet applied for those Australian who enter Vietnam via land or sea borders.
